For those who love mass layers of plot
andylunga7 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
There is enough plot here to fill 3 separate movies. What starts out with 2 twins trying to extort money from a soccer player with a kidnap scheme, soon becomes a Hannibal Lector & Clarice Starling chess game movie then becomes a domestic terrorism bomb hunt movie then finally a gangster Raid movie. Make of that what you will.

Speed(y) Thriller
kosmasp3 March 2018
There is almost no break in this, so it's almost action piece after action piece. So you don't really have much time to think about how and if it makes sense. That is, if you are gripped by the story of course. You have to let yourself into the mood of the movie to really enjoy it. It is entertaining for what it is, nothing more but also nothing less.

The characters are kind of bland and you'll probably see most twists coming around the corner way before they actually arrive. But it's still more than decent and has good visuals to support the tension it creates. If you like thrillers to be fast paced and not have too much to think about, you will be entertained by this for sure

It's a terrible movie

Warning: Spoilers
I watch this movie for Korean actor Lee, however the Chinese actor, who played the twin, has the most terrible acting that I've ever seen. No wonder no one recommended this movie, because these actors's voice and the acting is too horrible.

A horrible crime mystery movie...

Right, well as much as I love South Korean cinema, then of course not every single movie that comes from South Korea will be a good experience. But still, I will gladly watch them, even if never having heard about it, because chances are quite high that they turn out to be good and entertaining.

However "Jing tian da ni zhuan" (aka "Tik Tok") turned out to be one of the movies that broke the streak of great movies. Why? Well, because the storyline was a horrible shambled mess of an incoherent storyline that seemed more like director Li Jun and writer Xiaoyang Ding were just making up random scenes as they went along and the movie was shot.

The movie, however, was somewhat made bearable to watch by the acting performances of both Jung-jae Lee and Yueting Lang. However, they were cut down horribly by an abysmal storyline and a mess of a plot.

And to make matters worse, then the ending of the movie was even more atrocious. That was just like a slap in the face, after having suffered through the ordeal that is "Tik Tok". Then the writer and director pulls another random card from the hat and goes "yeah, just when you thought you had it figured out".

I managed to endure "Tik Tok" right up to the end, sitting in a fading hope that maybe the movie will correct its course and become a properly entertaining movie. Yeah, that just never happened and I was left sorely disappointed. This is definitely a movie that will never be seen a second time around here in my household.

Adorable...

A little big spoiler in the synopsis, lovely plot, convincing and convenient, but very engaging, a game of cat and mouse, not necessarily innovative (similar to another whose name I don't remember), but they succeed in what they propose, entertain with lots of explosions, chases, riddles, plot twists and drama, adorable...
