Just terrible

I don't have much to say about any of this. I only finished it because I'm sitting here one hour and I'm like what is going on.

Simply said. One word. Horrible

echo-where are thou

This iis a depressing flick, made in and around the echo park area of l.a.,usa. its a lot of talking about the struggling of living, poverty, drugs, school skipping, despaired parents,a robbery with one shot, who got hit are never shown or told. some stray cats sitting on a matress on a road corner, drinks camouflaged beverages, and plays, quite vigorous guitar. its just a lot of stray storys of loose connected people, what haunts me is that the story never bundles up. its extremely slow paced. will not recommend unless you are sosiology freak or want to spot your house on a film

WTF DID I JUST WATCH?

Surely the writer has connections in hollywood as this script made no sense, was boring, had no structure! Its funny how a 1 star script gets made while 5 star ones get passed on.

Solid film
nlavella-194245 December 2018
This is a solid film from an up and coming director and cast. The story explores some real characters following multiple plot lines that interweave each other as the explore the different sides of a neighborhood.

Stay till the end, watch it today.

Outstanding debut feature.

I caught 'In Echo Park' at the Boston International Film Festival and was very impressed with this first feature film from Nat Lezra. He has a natural instinct and eye for depicting and wrestling with the conundrums--both comic and tragic--of life in the 21st century American city. Lezra builds upon some of the same themes he so incisively dove into in his first short 'No Place for Soft Eyes,' which is well worth a watch if you haven't already seen it. 'In Echo Park' is the natural follow up to 'Soft Eyes,' as we see similar explorations of troubled protagonists navigating the consequences of structural inequities far beyond their control.
