Good Effort to Introduce Sc-Fi genre in Pakistan but pathetic Film Making.
sulemanashiq28 September 2019
I was eagerly awaiting the release of this film since the first teaser was out on YouTube with the thoughts that finally Pakistan breaking the stereotypes of comedy movies to present some Valory stories of armed forces. I dismayed when the 🎬 was delayed due to technical errors. Finally, the film got released in March this year with lackluster receptions from critics and audiences. At first, I was shocked but after watching the final product, I thought that this film richly deserved what it achieved in its cinematic run. Thankfully, I didn't watch it in the cinema, but it arises so many questions in my mind that how can products like that end in cinema halls?

Project Ghazi is a confusing tale of two Pakistani Superheroes, which is underdeveloped throughout the duration. The main motive of Project Ghazi remains unclear. Why was the program started? Who authorized it? What were the special skills of the selected soldiers? How Major Zain (Sheharyar Munawar) developed those skills? Were they, superheroes?

The acting was chaotic from the main lead. Both Sheharyar Munawar and Syra Shehroz were pathetic in their roles, seems robotic with their dialogue delivery. Talat Hussain and Adnan Jaffar shine through the lost script. They were aced in their underdeveloped roles as Qataaan and Dr. Zia. Humayun Saeed was underutilized in his role. His presence made him watch this full movie which seems like mixtures of many soap operas.

The direction was pathetic, Script was lousy and Action scenes were terrible, Hand to Hand combats shaky but costume designing was good.

The makers terribly recreated Universal Soldier with only patriotism, in their mind. Super Heroism isn't about CGI, robots, tanks and super skills they also need basic stories for their origin which was the weak point of Project Ghazi. No Story, No Super Powers Only Patriotism.

When the movie trailer was released i had some expectation from this movie to be different from a typical Pakistani movie, after watching it i lost it, worst movie ever, no proper plot , don't know where movie is being dragged, emotion less acting by all actors, dialogs are like they are reading it from the page, action like babies, just waste of money and time!!

Perhaps the most pathetic movie i have seen
bylal-iqbal30 March 2019
Lacked any storyline; we tried hard too the end to figure out what was happening but nothing made sense. The super power of the super hero was that he could punch hard... And even that's an assumption!! Expect Sultan Rahi sort of action; 100 bullets in the chest and the soldier just won't die!!

And the worst of all... Was the patriotic song that was played in the end which was completely out of context!!

The movie is so bad that we want a refund!!

Fantastic

The film started slow with some cringe sequences and bad vfx but ended up being one of the best sci-fi films I have ever watched. As the film progresses, it catches your attention and the storyline becomes strong and engaging. Vfx for the action sequences are brilliant, I have never seen such visual effects in any Pakistani film. I strongly recommend that everyone should go for it.

Innovative and Unique

Finally got a chance to watch this film. It was very interesting to say the least. The film isn't afraid to take risks and push boundaries. It's a movie that's both global and local. The themes and concepts explored are thought provoking.

It's surprising how good some of the visual effects are and there are some clever genre-bending scenes that are very suspenseful.

Very few films from Pakistan are so visually compelling and this one is way ahead of most Bollywood attempts in the sci-fi genre. The entire cast looks fantastic and it's great to see none of the typical masala tropes in this film. The short runtime suggest that the team may not have had the resources to perfect their product, but their effort is commendable.
