A must watch! I didn't know that AB was that much into culinary until I saw the show. I can't stop watching at this point. Good television!!!

This show is just a damn good time, nothing else to it. It's not so much a cooking show as it is Action Bronson going to amazing food joints and smoking joints at the same time haha. If you want to actually learn about food then maybe this show isn't for you, but if you love food and love enjoying food then you'll have a great time with this.

The show is so interesting about friends in NYC and eating at all the out of the way places hidden from most people. He finds and pigs out. You get to see what you'd never find and food never offered at other restaurants.

At its best when it mixes the complexity of the man and his passions, in a good-humored way

I am a fan of both good food and of Action Bronson. In particular I enjoy the sheer outrageousness of Bronson's music, which clashes with the image you may otherwise have of him as a person. His background in cooking, and his energy for food has been there since Dr Lector and this webseries seems to capture that mix too. The show follows him on tour as he eats good food – sometimes takeaway kebab (from a place in Birmingham UK), other times high class restaurants with beautiful presentation. All of the places appeal though, and the food looks and sounds good.

The series itself is a mixed bag, which is maybe in keeping with his diverse character and fanbase. At its best we enjoy the intelligent and funny energy of Bronson as he enjoys his food and company. However at times it pushes too far into cliché and is not quite as funny as it thinks it is. This tends to be more when the show uses 'Body' Bez more. He is a good character but he is much simpler in terms of his style, having the street presence of Bronson but without the subtlety or refinement on the edges. At times it is hard not to see him as a real piece of sh*t, which may be true or not, I don't know.

The show is professionally put together, and is enjoyable for having the controlled production values while also having such a rambunctious content. Bronson is an acquired taste though, and that is no different in this show, but it is still well worth a look for the energy, the food, and the humor.

Absolute gold in every sense.. Its no coincidence he is continually compared to Anthony Bourdain

If you watch 'Vice' you should know what to expect regardless.

But for those prudes that stumble across it (you should be aware that not only is this from a new age & genre... Action ET Al are will do things some may consider outlandish & they will use profanity).

However Action is a multi talented individual who effortlessly brings joy to any stranger he comes into contact with. His understanding and respect for culture isnt a natural talent. But in the show he syncorinses with all walks of people,of all ages & creeds. whilst naturally having the most hilarious banter with his friends.

This show is to food shows, what the 92 Acura Legend was to 90's cars

The chemistry between Action, Meyhem, Body and Al is on point. I binged watched the entire series in between looking at my 86 Donruss Jose Canseco rookie cards, and I was laughing out loud during every episode. One has to think, if this show was around when Tim Raines was stealing bases, he would've had twice as many. Every time I hop in my green Acura Vigor I make sure to have this playing on my phone. This show is to food shows, what the Mitsubishi Diamanté was to cars in the 90's; undeniable.

Would have given more stars...

I have watched every episode of FTD and enjoyed every episode. I gave it 6 stars die to the fact that Bes is just trying too hard. He just makes me shake my head half the time when he talks. If it wasn't for that element I would give it 8 star. Still a very enjoyable show. As a long time fan of Action Bronson, I give thanks for doing such a great job on this project.

Action Bronson I can tolerate to some extent and he has had some culinary training so his views on food carry some weight but his meat head friends ruin this show for me as they are ignorant neanderthals who clearly know zip about food. Don't get me wrong I don't like snobbery around food, art Etc. and will believe a review from a peer rather than some pretentious middle class elitist but these guys should not be on this show bringing it down. Big Body Bes is an infuriating on screen presence. He looks like Jonah Hill if he had Alopecia and he spouts the sort of observational crap that makes your toes curl. He's a walking cliche. It's watchable but i can feel myself tapping out soon if things don't improve.

Oh man, to think I just wasted electricity and more importantly my time downloading this piece of crap.

I just finished reading Harrison Ford's interview for GQ on-line and he mentioned the show, he said he likes it!?! Wow so Hollywood stars DO take drugs.

I D/L the first season and got thru 5 mins of episode 1, I guess it's good if you like watching fat rappers live the "good life" they spew about in their videos or watching obese people eat then the show is great, but as for learning ANYTHING about food and good restaurants the show is a waste of time.

It's like of like back in the day when CNN used to bring on morons like Tom Clancy on the TV to talk about US foreign policy or how the war is going ....!?!? Jesus Christ people the guy was an ex-insurance salesman who writes books - show me his Doctorate degree in international relations - that's how stupid this "food" show is. I love Tom Clancy books and have read all of them multiple times and own 90 of them but he's NOT who you go to for advice.

Watching fat guys who rap try to out hip each other on TV while stuffing their faces ..... OH yea, that's entertainment.

APPALLING TELEVISION !!! A foul mouthed meat head, with a vocabulary of 14 words, an IQ of 12 and deplorable screen presence, on a tax deductible holiday with his meat head mates filling the screen and blocking out any interesting scenery. This show should be shown on "loop" in prisons, to discourage crime!

Obnoxious trashy and rude

Glorifying obesity and being straight up rude and foul is not entertainment to me. I can see how some would like it, however it was not to my taste. Watching him eat made me nauseous. He's rude to the people around him too if you watch how he treats others, especially those in service positions. Not cool.

Any show that needs titillation / foul language to attract viewers is devoid of viewable content. No one with quality needs those tactics.

Mayhem Lauren is easily the most irritating SOB on television, a true, real life mouth breathing moron, impossible to watch , and season after season he just gets worse because he gets more screen time, here's why...he's willing to ride Action Bronson's nuts further than any of Bronson's other friends. I don't get it, Action Bronson is a smart dude, but it's like he takes what's good about the show puts it in the back and takes what's terrible about the show puts a spotlight on it. Body is unwatchable and will have you cringing yet he gets whole segments of his own, meanwhile, Bronson's most entertaining friend, The Alchemist gets hidden . There's some good things about the show, I like it when they feature regular working man restaurants like Angelo's etc. Action Bronson does know his stuff when it comes to food and he explains the ins and outs of good food and the how's and why's in a way that anyone can understand. I don't understand his fixation on natural wines guess he enjoys diarrhea and acid reflux.
