Adorable.

This is a very cute story about a father and his daughter. I didn't get too far into this show, as there isn't much of substance. Its a fluffy slice-of-life story that I would highly recommend if you like that kind of thing, but I don't.

Warning: Spoilers
A widower (apparently) struggle to rise his daughter, especially as he feel missing in cooking skills. He will find unexpected support by one of his class students.

It is very nice especially in the kindergarten part, it could be a bit boring if you have no interest in cooking but in its genere it is a must. The opening theme is fantastic.

The only issue is Kotori: I understand there are people as normie as her, but she is so predictable, especially after tasting the food they prepare together she always repeat the same sentence and exactly the same scene is repeated every episode, this makes me to fall asleep.

Warning: Spoilers
This delightful anime series follows single father, teacher Kohei Inuzuka, and his young daughter Tsumugi. His late wife used to do all of the cooking so after she died they have mainly been eating ready-meals but he decides to start cooking homemade food. To this end he enlists the help of Kotori Iida; she is a student at his school although he doesn't realise it at the time. She is also the daughter of a restaurant owner. Kotori doesn't know too much about cooking, and has a fear of knives, but together they learn to make a variety of meals; including some that include ingredients that Tsumugi isn't so keen on.

This series was an utter delight; the relationship between the three main characters is charming to watch… at no point is there even the slightest suggestion that Kohei or Kotori have inappropriate feeling for the other. Young Tsumugi is adorable and believable. Each episode features a fair amount of food preparation and cooking but this is not boring; in fact watching the characters interact during these tasks is rather fun… don't be surprised if it leaves you feeling hungry! The character designs are distinctive and the animation looks good. Overall this is a delightful slice of life series; nothing much happens but that is part of the charm. I'd definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a gentle feel good series.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

A bit boring..

I gotta say the art is cute and the voice actors were fine but I found the anime was rather a yawn fest. I heard a few great reviews about it as well as Akidearest mentioning it on some of her videos not too long ago.

However I'm afraid I'm out with this one even after 3 episodes of watching it...
