Payne's character, when discussing the Floridian Skunk-Ape, he refers to it as being "cryptology", however "cryptology" is the study of writing and codes, he clearly meant to say "cryptozoology": the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the Loch Ness monster and the yeti.
