An interesting documentary

I am not a futbol fan so I had no idea who Sir stanley Matthews was before I watched this documentary. I was excited to learn about him.

I liked watched the old footage of futbol games. I was amazed that he played until he was 50 years old. That fact is amazing to me.

He seemed like a great guy as well as a great futbol player. He would talk to people who recognized him on the street and sign autographs. I think I remember that right.

I thought that Mathews was a good overview of sir Stanley Matthews life. I learned something interesting man. I am glad I watched it.

Iconic Documentary about the Great Man

In an age where the word "Genius" is banded about Freely. Here is a Documentary about one such Man, Sir Stanley Matthews. The film begins in Soweto, South Africa, where Stan dedicated his immense football knowledge and contacts to coach Stan's men. These were some of the poorest kids in the world and Stan gave Hope and Inspiration to them and many others. This alone tells the Mark of the Man, when at the time he could have had a coaching or ambassadorial role at any club in the world, such was the esteem he was held in. The film then Tell the Story of Stan and his rise from modest beginnings to Global Superstardom, via remastered film footage and interviews with Sir Richard Branson, Gary Lineker, Jimmy Armfield, Nick Hancock, family members, Football fans and many sports reporters. Indeed it's this modesty and Humility, coupled with Stans incredible skill and work ethic that the filmmaker really captures here. As one of Stan's men himself says "Love is Forever". This is a Feel-Good Documentary about an Inspirational man who Deserves to be Treasured Forever.

Beautifully Told Story of a True Legend

This movie not only tells you the story of Sir Stan, but the impact his talent and character had on the people around him and the world. Great visuals and interviews. I loved the interviews with Stan's Men. Really lovely telling of this man's life and left me wishing I grew up in his time.
