The Patriots: Sam Adams & Paul Revere - The Rebellion Begins

Brilliant programming and quite easy to watch, making the American Revolution come alive for me as never before. However: As unfamiliar as I am with the customs of 18th-century America, I knew the "You may kiss the bride" portion of this episode's wedding ceremony was bogus. It was easy to verify with a Google search that "You may kiss the bride" is a relatively recent addition to weddings and certainly not something said in the 1700s. Mr. O'Reilly might want to verify the historicity of those wedding customs before including them in his program. Such a simple thing, but it puts a damper on my ability to trust the rest of his facts.
