Pretty decent beginning

Well I am not a fan of the series but it is a good start.

In this universe Supergirl goes to a school where for some odd reason Amanda Waller is the principal, Gorilla grodd is a the headmaster, Wildcat is a gym teacher and for some odd reason Killer Frost, Cheetah, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Star Sapphire attend this school.

Also, since when is Wonder Woman so jealous of Supergirl.

Well I hate the actual series and the movies after it but this was actually okay.

Fun for what it is basically

Warning: Spoilers
"Super Hero High" is a television special to the series "DC Super Hero Girls". It was released back in 2016 and runs for slightly under 44 minutes, so still falls into short film territory. Director is Jennifer Coyle and the list of writers is endless as basically every superhero featured in here gets their/her own credit. Yep, it's about female superheroes almost exclusively and they made sure the few male ones don't steal the show from the chicks. The leader of the gang is Wonder Woman and we find out about Supergirl and Batgirl stepping up to the challenge to join these female Avengers. Also with the exception of the reptile beast right at the start, the villains are female, like Giganta and the evil Granny and also all the hench(wo)men as well. The most memorable of these very few male characters is probably the talking gorilla who was quite fun. I myself was a bit surprised to see Harley Quinn fight for the good side given how many female antagonists were in here, but yeah I think this came around the time when there was the Oscar-winning movie starring that chick from Wolf of Wall Street as Harley Quinn, so she was too popular to be defeated as one of the villains. Anyway, all in all, this wasn't bad. it's not a gritty or dark film, but really all about the fun and the quantity of antagonists also shows that it's not an unwinnable battle at any point that we get to see here, even if the good vs. evil story line is present from minute 1 until the credits roll in. Runtime feels accurate too I would say and even if I am a male I think this is a better watch for female audiences, teenagers preferrably. But it is more than just another film trying to cash in with the wave of commercially highly successful superhero films. I give it a thumbs-up.
