- Bloody spurts and spray throughout, not that graphic. Random spontaneous deaths.
- Teens die by literally exploding at random times in the film. It's very bloody and shocking.
- One particular scene has multiple teens exploding. It involves panicking teens stampeding for the school exits and getting drenched in blood as their peers are rapidly combusting.

- The main character is underage, and very often drinking lots of alcohol throughout the movie. At one point drinking straight tequila.
- A high school girl smokes a joint with two other students.
- Two old women are shown and mentioned to be smoking a hookah.
- The main character, an underage girl, makes a martini in front of her Dad, and explains how she mixes it with "vodka, dried vermouth, grenadine and ice" and then drinks almost the whole glass.
- The underage drinking and drug use is presenting as generally being positive with few harmful result, which can be dangerous to young viewers who may be influenced.
