Gets its message through

Warning: Spoilers
"Las pequeñas cosas" or "The Little Things" written and directed by Alberto Rodríguez is a 16-minute live action short film in the Spanish language from 2016. It is the story of a grumpy actor and the young woman who rekindles his spirit as he finds a way thanks to her to appreciate the simple things in life. This one was ordered by a beer company and honestly it is on a level where I am indeed slightly impressed. This may have to do with the fact that I am quite a Jean Reno fan and even if he is probably not the greatest French actor of all time (I liked how the film poked fun at this superlative), it's also not fair to discredit him only because his most known film and career effort is still an action movie. Actually, there is a lot more to Léon than action, but this is not the right place to talk about it now. Back to this one here: Reno's co-lead is Laia Costa, known from Victoria, and I like her too. Yes the shooting scenes with Reno looking a bit like Bond could have been left out, but everything in-between was fine. The two leads have strong chemistry like I hoped they would and overall there is also a nice message to this short film that applies in all kinds of life situations, not just for buying alcohol, and they managed to get said message true while keeping the film authentic and never pretentious. It's very much worth checking out, almost a must-see if you like Reno as much as I do. Probably closer to ****/***** than to **/***** I do recommend seeing this short film. Don't miss out.

a commercial

A great commercial. Not only for the intro ( and final ) but for entire story , working as beautiful wake up.

The heart of this lovely short film is, obvious, Laia Costa, near the Mediteranean atmosphere. Jean Reno proposes the fair job in a role who can define himself and the summer air , the wedding ( who can be Spanish, Greek or Portugues ), the dinner near the young people of the impressive Jean - Pierre and the simple solution for commercial are real good points.

Not a great fil ( for many reasons, au contraire ) but for its freshness you are just grateful.

So, Jean Reno and. Laia Costa. And a very-very-very simple story about the tastes of life and the solution for a commercial.

Laia is amazing, but I wonder what's the name of the BGM when the French actor met laia at her wedding and she just invited him to sit down, I love that music, so I want to know it's name so much.
