Tommie travels to the Netherlands, where we explore how its homegrown superstars, have deeper personal stories and struggles than the facade may let on. Tommie meets up with Afrojack and explores his meteoric rise in EDM, as well as the pitfalls that came with it having success so young. Since then, he's found a new appreciation for home. The same applies to Don Diablo, who after a huge recording contract in his teens, found himself in a creative rut, but it took a major tragedy back at home to bring him back to his creative center, and now finds himself thriving once again.

Tommie explores the mainstage of Vegas, as EDM's as the big paycheck center for EDM, where mega-clubs fork out millions to DJ's to show up for a few hours a month. Tiesto started the trend, of huge paydays for gigs, and now the trend is market-wide. We'll feature the Hakkasan Group, the hospitality giant behind EDM destinations Light and now the new Omnia, a new mega club being heralded as the first of it's kind, in technology, design and sheer scale. We'll meet with the staff including James Algate who was a huge force behind the design of the club. We'll also speak to other Hakassan executives to explore the politics, bottle culture driving up the zeros, booking challenges, and how Vegas invented and industrialized the residency business. We'll interweave the exploration of the Hakkasan group with female EDM superduo Krewella, as they arrive to Las Vegas for their residency at Omnia. Leading up the big show, Tommie will explore their backstory, including being raised Muslim, as well as their tumultuous break-up and lawsuit with ex-member Rain Man. All of this culminates where both storylines of the club and artist, culminate at the Krewella show at Omnia.

Tommie arrives to LA, the home of popular music, to explore how this city of illusions and preconception, has a deep rooted electronic dance music scene. He meets with 12th Planet, Dirty South, and the Gaslamp Killer - all artists who hail from far reaching neighborhoods in the city, and maintain vastly different musical sounds. But what he discovers is the commonality is the city gives the artists full freedom to explore their artistic boundaries and fulfill their creative appetites.

Tommie explores how smaller cities in England have had an equally large impact on the evolution of electronic dance music. He first heads to Brighton to meet the legendary Fatboy Slim, who proudly gave life to a new genre called Big Beat, right from this small sleepy seaside town. Then we head north to Manchester, where we explore how London's smaller counterpart, is where electronic music really caught on in England. We also meet hometown heroes MRK1, Zed Bias, and Virus Syndicate and understand how coming up in a gritty, smaller town directly affects and colors their music.

Tommie explores the symbiotic relationship between electronic dance music and technology. We meet Chuckie, who embodies this relationship, as he comes through San Francisco on a whirlwind tour to meet some of the most cutting edge players in the tech industry. We also meet homegrown act M Machine, whose very tech forward approach and sound, has a story that perfectly coincides with the evolution of SF as a city. But to also understand the city's evolution in relation to tech, we also go back in time to meet the original rave pioneers of San Francisco - Hardkiss. In those early days, they were the frontrunners of an experimental new sound, which incorporated many styles of electronic music. We also dive in their new life, since losing their third member and soul of the group Scott Hardkiss.
