- Two women talk about that they are horny and they want to have sex. Dildo is mentioned.
- Near the beginning of the film, several women are shown in a sauna. Most are covered up, but one displays most of the side of a breast as she shows her friend her new tattoo. She is seen sitting in a tattoo parlor chair topless with her hands covering most of breast as she gets tattoo.

- There are several extremely graphic and upsetting descriptions of violence in a courtroom setting, including a nail bomb's effects on a deceased child.
- Within the first few minutes of the film, a nail bomb set inside a backpack on a bike goes off outside an office building. It is mentioned that there were two fatalities, who turn out to be the main character Katja's husband Nuri and son Rocco. There are no graphic visual depictions of carnage relating to the incident; the worst we see is some blood on the walls when Katja visits the crime scene.

- The victim in this film used to be a drug dealer, which leads to occasional references and interrogatories about his criminal background.
- Katja smokes cigarettes almost constantly throughout the film and does drugs in several scenes in the first act, including marijuana, cocaine and opium. However, the drug use is not glamorized, instead shown to be reflective of her descent into despair.

- The sudden nature of the bombing in the opening of the film will disturb some viewers.
- The mood of the film is intense throughout; there are frequent scenes of mourning, as well as heated conversations about the central crime.

- Katja is shown to have slit her wrists in a bathtub; blood flows through the water around her body. She is later seen with tourniquets around her wrists.
- Katja straps a homemade nail bomb to her chest, goes inside an RV where the two suspects of the criminal investigation are hiding, and detonates it inside the RV.
