Plot

When Lila, the new girl at school, lies to everyone that she and Ladybug are close friends, Marinette becomes jealous since she was flirting with Adrien. While spying on Adrien and Lila in the library Tikki, her kwami, is desperate to get her hands on Adrien's book. But when Lila steals the book, she lies to Adrien at the park that she's the descendant of a super heroine. When Marinette's jealousy takes over, she humiliates Lila as Ladybug in front of Adrien. Jealous and upset, Lila is influenced by Hawk Moth and turns into Volpina, a villain who has the power of illusion.

When a new girl named Lila Rossi begins telling lies about herself to everyone. Marinette becomes jealous when Lila gets close to Adrien, but she notices that Lila has stolen a book from Adrien (which he took from his father's safe earlier). Marinette is able to retrieve the book, but her jealousy soon gets to her. Marinette transforms into Ladybug and she angrily calls Lila out on her blatant lies in front of Adrien, this causes him to realize that Lila is a liar and a bully. Hawk Moth akumatizes Lila into Volpina, a copy cat version of the fox miraculous holder. Volpina fakes an alliance with Ladybug and Cat Noir, but they see through her ruse and the two heroes defeat Volpina. Ladybug tries to apologize to Lila, but she refuses to forgive the hero. Meanwhile, Adrien is trying to look for his father's book, but unbeknownst to him, he doesn't realize that Lila is responsible for stealing the book from him without his consent and the book is now in Marinette's possession. At home, Tikki reveals to Marinette that the book actually belongs to the guardian of the miraculous. Marinette and Tikki meet Master Fu, the last remaining guardian of the the miraculous.

Lila, a student who tries to have Adrien all to herself, lies about that she is a descendant of superheroes. When she becomes crestfallen that she has been called a liar by Lady Bug and humiliated in front of him, Hawk Moth akumatises her, transforming her into Volpina: a villain who can create illusions.—Sophie
