Good idea with bad execution.

The premise of Andy's Prehistoric Adventures is to teach children about prehistoric animals. He does this while standing in front of a green screen and having a team digitally putting him in clips from Walking with Dinosaurs, in some cases even replacing Nigel Marven - a childhood superhero - with this Andy fellow. I don't know if I am the only one who was upset by the very bad contrasts between APA's own sceneries and the ones used in clips from the Walking with- trilogy (where they actually traveled to locations identical to how the places back in the day looked like).

I am fully aware that ADA is aimed at a much lower target audience and that most kids under the age of 10 aren't going to point out the from time to time NON-Existent SHADOWS, though. ADA teaches some basic knowledge about the featured animals and should get acknowledgment for that. It's in a child-friendly and goofy fashion! Kudos for that.

All-in-all the low rating from me is probably because I felt that the animators made an almost blasphemous, abhorrent attempt at putting a man in front of dinosaurs in a documentary when it had already been done in 1999.
