Our main character works at a strip club - no not what you think. It's a he and he's a comedian (and bar man I guess). And he also has issues ... well many issues, but one is concerning a female, who is sort of his boss and not just because she sleeps with the actual boss, but ... ok who am I kidding? While this is a thriller, there is not much here to tell about the story.
It is shot nicely (lighting and all) and there are some stand up jokes that are funny (no pun intended). Acting wise and dialog wise though - do not expect anything from this. Yes there is a twist, which might come as a bit of a surprise - only to be completely undermined by what follows ... and there is also a lot of nudity. While I don't always agree when people call intercourse in movies hardcore, this seems to be coming quite close to that (again no pun intended). It is what it is and a bit of a throwback to the 80s/90s erotic thrillers. It could have done with a more charismatic lead, but I don't think it would have saved the movie either.
