- The violence in the film comprises mainly of fantasy action sequences in the context of battles between the protagonists and their enemies.
- Most of these scenes involve exchanges of gunfire, and numerous explosions.
- Some of the stronger scenes of violence include a man being stabbed in the back with a dagger; a scene where a man slashes the neck of a large beast with blood seen spurting, and one where a man is shot in the back, with the bullet impact seen through his chest.
- In another scene, a character's arm is engulfed in flames as he is unable to control the magic power unleashed upon him.
