This episode includes a bit of everything that makes LMOE special. It's about Phils relationship with the two most important people in his life - Carol and Mike. But also his friendship with Todd. While being able to deliver on darker and more serious topics (Silent Night), this one is more light-hearted yet still well done. Utilizing the shows unique mix of slapstick and character development.

I'm really late to the party with this series (slow-ish binge watching in 2022 - thanks Disney+ for bringing it to my attention).
I moaned like a proper whiner in my last review about the whole Carol and Phil thing being too forced and annoying. I also correctly predicted how they'd get back together once the pressure was off!
This show is getting better and better.
It's funny, sweet, weird and stupid.
I already know it's been cancelled and I have a heads up that it's unresolved at the end, but I'm going to keep on. I guess now a real live virus swept the planet, there may be no appetite to bring it back, which I guess is a shame (not seen the end yet but I may demand a finale!).
Phil/Tandy's personal development is great. Carol's kindness and warmth just shines through.
All of the characters bring enough to the group to make it equally dysfunctional and equally fun.
Gayle's moving of the clock from 9.30 to 16.30 to dismiss the criticism of her drinking so early, had me chuckling.
It's the end of the world, enjoy it.

I finally realized today after watching this show from the beginning that I really dislike this show. It is classified as a comedy but this is the least funny so called comedy series that I have ever seen. I have not laughed out loud even once in the last several weeks of watching it. The writers are clearly not comedy writers, they are so obsessed with just following a story line that they forget to find a way to put humor into the show. I guess I only watch out of curiosity what will happen next and what happens next gets more lame every week. I recommend that you not waste a half hour of your time watching this. You should go to bed early and get some extra sleep, it is a better use of your time.
