- In one scene, a group of people are watching what seems to be a soap opera where a character is upset that his wife or girlfriend has been cheating on him with someone, and then in the audible scene he finds out that his wife or girlfriend is actually his mother. At this point, the unseen male voice shouts, "Nooooo...." There are no images, just voices on an implied television that the group is intently staring at..
- A woman flirts with a disguised Long during the fancy party. As he begins to change back to his dragon self, Long's tail emerges and accidentally spanks the woman on her buttocks arousing her.

- There is some mild kung-fu violence, largely involving antagonists being punched, slapped, or kicked in some way. Largely played for laughs but more intense towards the end of the film.

- While disguised as a human at a fancy party, Long consumes multiple alcoholic drinks and begins to slur his words and hiccup, indicating he is intoxicated.
- A mother asks if her son is drinking alcohol, and later makes a reference to fearing he is "drugged out." (Both of these are untrue.)

- Two characters attack each other using martial arts while wearing Chinese dragon costumes. Their flailing limbs fighting through the dragons' mouths give the appearance of the dragons French kissing. The crowd cringes in disgust. Played for laughs.
Violence & Gore
- A man has a golden touch. He touches himself and the Wish Dragon and they both turn to gold. The man accidentally falls off a bridge, and hitting something, crushing him to gold pieces, non-graphically. But, the Wish Dragon survives.
