9/11/17. This short documentary looks at the work of Frank Wong, an unknown, self-taught artist (81 years old) who spent the past 40 years recreating his fading memories of San Franciso's Chinatown with detailed miniature models of the Chinatown rooms of his youth. This doc won the Audience Award, Best Documentary Short, Boston Asian American Film Festival 2016 and the Audience Award, Best Documentary Short, Austin Asian American Film Festival 2016.
