Neat animation

Warning: Spoilers
Perhaps the greatest strength this short is its bittersweet melancholy, particularly on the scenes which eventually lead to its climax: The ending of childhood is imminent (Hence, the seemingly "apocalyptic" setting) and that feeling permeates even the scenes where Lili smile and looks happy.

And yet, despite the sadness, there is room for optimism and hope, which is nicely expressed on the final scene without any word. It is a very beautiful scene which gives a perfect closure for this kind of story.

It could remind "The Wizard of Oz". or the sweet taste of childhood memories. but its virtue is more significant - it represents a lovely short animation about illusion and reality and the choice who defines us. and, maybe, this is the great detail who gives to "Lili" the virtue to propose a real essential message. using beautiful animation, characters who seems be so familiar and one of stories who opens secret doors to the child inside us.
