Pretty good episode

Pretty good episode featuring more of the long term cast, although I am very tired of Matt and his attitude. He can just be gone now. He just adds nothing good to the show other than pouty anger.

I loved this episode with the road trip of killing vampires and stuff like that, it was a really good episode, I liked the humour in the episode as well.

Opening the door to Yvette

Rayna is madly surrounded with sheets of names next to the fire in the cabin. Stefan, Enzo, and Damon are quickly finding the vampires on her list and killing them. They have to quickly do so before Bonnie dies. Damon says if this was the Olympics they would be doing well. Damon tells Stefan that he called up Matt for them to partner up. Stefan says Matt wanted him dead. During their car trip to a place with its interior full of wood, Matt points the gun at Stefan. He wants to know the truth about Penny's death. We see a flashback of Penny seeing Matt quickly close his laptop when she comes in. Is it porn? She hops on the bed and wants to see. She thinks they are at the point when browser history can be shared and she is interested in seeing what freaky stuff he likes. It is an article on the top ten ways to propose. She accepts without him having proposed yet. Later we see that in the woods Matt sees a vampire whoosh by and shoots in that direction. It is Stefan and it killed Penny. Stefan compelled Matt to forget. Matt still blames Stefan because if he wasn't there it would not have happened. Bonnie opens the door to Yvette. Enzo's cousin goes in and sees the corpse of Yvette. Bonnie uses magic to lock the building so no one can get out.
