Waste of time

This movie was a waste of time.at the beginning, I was hooked because of the beautiful song. However, soon turned into a typical Punjabi movie with Gelo facing many negative situations. Everything that bad can happen, happens with her.

Excellent Film

Gelo is about an incredible woman by the same name. She is a from a working class Jatt family in the Punjab State. She is a thinker, and it is this gift of hers- this ability to think for herself and make her own decisions ( for the most part) that causes her personal and family problems; from her first love to her forced toxic marriage, and all the events surrounding these two major events in her life. The events in her life, other than the birth of her beloved daughter, cause her great personal pain. Despite this she retains her dignity and stays focused, throughout the film. Kudos to Jaspinder Cheema , Raj Dhaliwal as the two young lovers in this film and to Pavan Malhorta as the villain and spurned would-be lover, for their powerful portrayals in the movie.

This film is definitely worth watching. 9 stars!
