Too dang silly

Do they want the couch or not? What's the whole point of this episode? It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense, even if there's a few good jokes in the mix. The first dud of season 6, imo.

Underrated episode

Very underrated indeed. Usually a Bob's Burgers episode gets at least a 7.8/10 on an episode, however this one actually got quite disappointing reviews. Why? I have no idea. I'll keep this review short so you don't have to read much, however, I want to put across that this is one of the funniest episodes I have seen from Bob's Burgers in a while, and as I was one of those people that preferred season 1 and 2, I have come to the sudden realization that the show is heading back to their old humour. And most people don't enjoy it. Why? I have no idea. This made me laugh at times, and even if the story in the episode wasn't top notch for you spoiled brats, it was decent, and the jokes made up for it. Overall, I think this is a very underrated episode. Go watch it if you want some laughs.

No personal growth and no realism

Warning: Spoilers
Everything was just over the top. Linda was overly sensitive to a couch that most of the family didn't even want to sit on. Even Teddy getting in on it was just irritating. I understand the sentimental value but to the viewer, it wasn't enough to relate to the characters. I was hoping that the ending would be something like, "We can create new memories with the new couch". I had hoped that the small stain of the new couch was a foreshadow to that. What bothered me the most was Bob not telling his family that they shouldn't burn the $500 brand new couch for something they can't even sit on. It was just too ridiculous. There were very few laughs. No character development.

The Sofa Queen was meh. I thought it had more potential. I liked the flashbacks of the kids but they weren't as heartwarming as they were made out to be. I know the Belchers are all quirky with odd interests and fixations but in this episode, they all just seemed as caricatures of themselves that were hard to relate to.

Not horrible, but not good

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was nowhere near normal Bob's Burgers quality. The couch was obviously disgusting, and keeping it was pretty gross. I admit, I have hoarding problems to. But it was still not great compared to what Bob's Burgers normally is. While Family Fracas is still worse, this definitely isn't a good episode, and it's understandable on why it's not very liked.
