Episode Doesn't Go Anywhere

I just failed to get interested here. Apparently a group of scientists end up in a desperate situation, where they supposedly resorted to cannibalism. Edison was a part of that group and used some horrendous judgement. This is another case of looking the other way when it comes to transgressions by friends in this series. No one else gets the benefit of the doubt, it would seem. It turns out that the guy who comes under scrutiny is one who manipulated the facts and wrote a book, catering to people's prurient interests. Oh, and once again the God machine is about to descend on the lab. I won't say any more than that. Just watch.

Clearly there is an overt action week after week that is tinkering with the script, affecting the regular cast in not so kind a fashion... jealousy or hate is usually behind such activity ... its not effective writing
