AWFUL
linda-plant21 March 2019
20 minutes in, and I'm fast forwarding. The lead characters have zero chemistry, the male lead is so wooden in his acting that its hard to believe this is not his first movie role.

The story has no depth, and there's another romance plot within the story. Do I care about any of the characters in the film, er, no.

All these movies have very young people in charge of corporations, advertising agencies, publishers etc etc. It would be nice to see some mature bodies in charge, like in real life, AND it would give some much needed work for older actors too !

In turns annoying and boring

The banter is annoying and grating. The story about a publisher and a relationship writer is so boring. The cast isn't terribly appealing either. Don't bother with this unnecessary movie.

Cheesy

Warning: Spoilers
I normally love the predictable Hallmark movies, but this one... yuk! It's a cheese fest. The music is bad and often louder than the actors. Here comes some spoilers: I didn't even want them to get back together. The chemistry just wasn't there. Badly written, not beleivable performances, and the movie feels like it was filmed in the 90s. If you like rolling your eyes, this one's for you.

Cringe-Worthy

Lifeless dialog and deliveries for the most part. Unbelievable plot. Kept thinking it would get better. I most of my time trying to decide whether it was just the writing, acting or directing. I finally concluded it was all the above.

Jasmin Brown's character Hannah in the subplot, was the only one of the four main characters that seemed real at all, and that I ended up caring anything about.

Overall, it was a waste of time.

Very entertaining.

I enjoyed this one. Becca Tobin deserves more roles in Hallmark movies if she wants them. I liked the plot which was a little different from the usual with some interesting dilemmas and character development. The two leads chemistry was very good, as was the chemistry between the leads in the secondary romances. The secondary romances added a lot of interest. They were very cute. The pace was good. Always something going on and it didn't get repetitive or bogged down.
