The Wander team really outdid themselves! In this Mary Poppins esque musical episode, Lord Hater tries to date Dominator. This episode has 7 different songs, 6 of them are very nice, albeit forgettable, but the one that stands out is Lord Dominator's villain song, I'm the Bad Guy. This song is literally the reason many people started to get interested in Wander over Yonder. So, yeah, we should thank Dominator for introducing many people to this show. I give this episode 9 out of 10, as it is the BEST episode of the series by far.
"My Fair Hatey," in Wander Over Yonder, is a fan favorite for good reason. It's a perfect blend of everything that makes the show great: wacky humor, charming characters, exciting adventure, and even a touch of drama.
This episode takes things to a whole new level. Not only do we get the classic Wander-and-Hater hijinks (this time with a hilarious twist!), but Sylvia and Peepers get their own action-packed subplot too. On top of that, it's a full-on musical extravaganza.
All the songs are fantastic, but the show-stopper is definitely "I'm the Bad Guy." It's not just catchy, it's a character-defining moment for Dominator and a metaphor for the show itself. This song even went viral, attracting new fans to the show! (Though some might have just come for the villain song, any exposure is good exposure, right?)
While some might consider this the absolute best episode of the series (and I can't say I disagree!), even if it's not your top pick, it's easy to see why it holds a special place in many fans' hearts.
