- A man moans loudly and jerks off, and then has sex with a woman who is next to him. We see both figures only from the waist up. This scene is meant to be uncomfortable.
- The show has some frequent strong crude sex references that are usually brief and passing.
- There are some sex scenes that are usually under-detailed in nature.
Violence & Gore

- Violence is infrequent but moderately bloody at times.
- A stabbing of a character is displayed (partially offscreen), but is revealed to be part of a show in Search Party's universe.
- Animal cruelty is featured in season 3 and in season 5. While the killings aren't actually shown, the bloody aftermath of one of these cruel incidents is seen. There are also some loud, disturbing sound effects during the killings (skulls being bludgeoned, animals crying in pain and fear).
- Lab rats are killed during an experiment in season 5. The rats are not shown or heard dying, but the viewer does see rat carcasses afterward.
Profanity

- The words "fuck" and "shit" are each used infrequently throughout the series. "Cock" and "dick" are used sexually. Milder language like "ass" and "bitch" is also used frequently.
- A character is called a "faggot" during a rapid fire insult montage.

- One scene contains an accidental shooting of a character presumed villainous in the chest. Some blood is present.
- A character shoots herself in the arm. Some blood spray.
- A character is bludgeoned with a blunt object in the head and dies from it. Some blood and gore is present.
- A child is forced to kill a swan with a blunt object. We see the impact (partially obscured), as he does hits it multiple times, but no blood is present. Played for dark comedy.
