The director's cut was first to be released, on YouTube and is the preferred version for the filmmakers. Then the original version was released at the NOW Young People's Arts Festival and is a few seconds longer than the director's cut and makes the story easier to understand while linking it more to technology and mental health, a requirement for the festival.
- The statistics at the end of the original version were removed from the director's cut.
- An animated clock was added into the original version after each scene to show going back in time.
- An extra two shots were added into the original, in which the main character is looking at a computer screen and sees the word "empty".
- There were some changes to the desert shots appearing from the directors cut to the original.
- The credits were changed to feature all three cast members on one screen in the original. Also, the credits for the sound effects used were removed and a logo for The Studio, Liverpool school was added.
