Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features nine matches and is once again filmed at the Dark studios in Orlando, Florida rather than coming from on the road… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Ar Fox & Top Flight def. The Wingmen
My Thoughts: What’s this? The Wingmen in a decent match shocker! I know that’s hard to believe given how they’ve been booked in forever… but it looks like the were given a chance to shine against Top Flight and Ar Fox, who also managed to draw out decent wrestling from the normally-comedic team. Surprising but superb start to this week’s show.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Red Velvet def. Sofia Castillo
My Thoughts: What went on here then? Red Velvet has a good match on Elevation then we get this on Dark. In one match she looks strong and...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features eight matches and takes us back to the typical Dark studio setting rather than coming from on the road… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Britt Baker def. Billie Starkz
My Thoughts: This was a fantastic opening match, with Billie Starkz giving Britt Baker a decent run, almost getting the win with a super-close pinfall attempt. Starkz even made Baker bleed! Apparently this was filmed a while ago, which takes some of the momentum out of the finished product but still, I really enjoyed this one.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Dark Order def. Baliyan Akki, Marcus Kross & Vary Morales
My Thoughts: Dark Order versus enhancement talent… Oh, I wonder who;s going to win this one? And what do you know, it’s also a squash! Yes, this one weas another by-the-book Aew YouTube match for the Dark Order.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dark which comes from Aew Universal and features 9 matches this week. Once again we’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary… Let’s get into the review!
Match #1: John Silver def. Ryan Nemeth
My Thoughts: As this match started I couldn’t help but with John Silver would kick the living crap out of Ryan Nemeth. If ever there was a wrestler in Aew who need an overhaul it’s Nemeth. His gimmick sucks and no matter how many times he tries to sell it on TV or on Being the Elite it doesn’t get over. Ever. To be fair though both men put on a great opening match – I might not like the gimmick but Nemeth (and Silver) can wrestle.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Varsity Blonds def. The Workhorsemen
My Thoughts: Always love seeing Jd Drake wrestle...

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to star in an upcoming terrorism plane thriller called 7500. According to Deadline, he is replacing Paul Dano, who was previously attached to the project.
The intense film will take place in the cockpit of an airplane that has been taken over by terrorists. The story will follow Tobias Ellis (Gordon-Levitt), who is a co-pilot during an airline hijacking at 30,000 feet.
I'm a big fan of Gordon-Levitt and his film work and this sounds like it will be a great project for him to be a part of. The actor was last seen in the film Snowden. He also has an upcoming comedy musical with Channing Tatum called Wingmen that he stars in and directs.
The movie is being directed by first-time feature film director Patrick Vollrath from a script that he wrote. Vollrath was nominated for an Oscar last year for a live-action short film he...

Inception 2 isn’t likely to happen – not now, and perhaps not ever, according to Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
When quizzed about the possibility of a sequel by one curious Twitter user (via Screen Rant), Gordon-Levitt laughed off the suggestion that Christopher Nolan was planning to get the crew back together for another mind heist.
First released in 2010, Inception is arguably one of Nolan’s greatest achievements – a fiercely original piece of work that is so meticulously crafted, it demands to be viewed multiple times in order to parse its labyrinthine plot. Dazzling viewers with intricate storylines is a common trait of Nolan’s, as is the director’s natural tendency to avoid retreading old territory. With the exception of The Dark Knight trilogy, ‘Christopher Nolan’ and ‘movie sequel’ are two terms that you’re unlikely to find nestled in the same sentence, so by that logic alone, Inception 2 has always been considered an unrealistic proposition.

It seemed like a match made in movie heaven when it was announced last year that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum were to headline the R-rated musical comedy, Wingmen, together. Now, in addition to his dancing shoes, Gordon-Levitt may be donning the director’s hat for the Universal movie in his second time directing since his feature […]

Having completed all pre-flight checks, Universal is officially moving forward with Wingmen – a project clearly designed to zero in on the film market sweet-spot created by the successes of R-rated action movies, and big-budget musicals. The project – currently in development – will marry those two genres, creating what the studio undoubtedly hopes will be the first R-rated musical to do big business at the box office. The secret to this hoped for success lies in the casting, and Wingmen will toplined by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum.
Reportedly described as “Pitch Perfect meets Book Of Mormon,” the film was originally pitched to Universal by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Bacall (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street), and the former is now under consideration to direct the film, as well as star and co-produce. Such an undertaking would be the actor’s second time at the helm of a feature...
