I expected a lot from this film, instead I was tricked into a slow paced, boring conversational film where the lead actress clearly needs more work in the acting department., It had a good storyline and being a horror / thriller fanatic, this clearly does not deliver, I was expecting an UNFRIENDED style of HORROR but this truly failed.,

The reason why it's a 3/10 because the story was good, though there should have been a lot of scenes omitted and replaced with scenes which can wake you up, I fastforwarded it to the end to see a very flat ending.,

Truly dissapointed.

This movie had some interesting ideas. Better actors, more clever writing and throwing out the generic romance angle would have gone a long way, maybe even made this into a decent B flick, as of now it is nothing but a missed opportunity.

When I give a bad rating, I try to watch as much of the movie as possible. To give the movie a chance. This movie was quite bad. Amateurish. I was losing my patience quite quickly. In the end, I gave up.

Worst movie I've talked to the screen at in a very long time. Characters are unbelievable. Two montages that are out of place and only serve to increase the run-time. The plot is made of swiss cheese. Spoiler Warning: Make a drinking game out of this and take a swig every time the lead actress walks back and forth from her laptop to the window. Was expecting a horrendous remake of Sion Sono's cult classic of the same title, at least it hit the mark on the horrendous aspect. Most fun I've had wishing I was doing anything else. 10/10 for convincing me to write my first and most probable last review.

Positive for once

I actually liked this film. I didn't expect much, and much wasn't delivered, so I wasn't upset at the slow pace or single location. The premise was nice enough, and tho the characters weren't deep at all, it did its job to keep me watching to the end. I will say the ending was disappointing. It felt rushed and incomplete.

Character Liz couldn't keep her fingers out of her mouth and her hands off her face. The story was unremarkable and fell short on so many levels, it was bad...but hey, tricks are for kids, I'm sure they'll love it.

ITS BAD MOVIE AND ITS NOT MUCH OF SPOILER BUT ITS JUST BASICALLY AN ACTRESS WHO CANT EVEN LOOK INTO THE CAMERA AND TALKING BUT MOSTLY ON A COMPUTER TILL THE END WHEN U FIND OUT BY WATCHING WHICH I CANT EXPLAIN OR CARE TO! SO DO ME A FAVOR AVOID THIS ONE AND FIND ANOTHER THATS NOT GARBAGE THATS RIGHT I SAID NOTHING BUT COMPLETE GARABGE SO IM GIVING IT 1 STAR WHICH IS ACTUALLY A ZERO AND IF U LIKE TO FALL ASLEEP THIS IS IT FOR U! Great movie, good cast with great acting and definately fun to watch. The plot sucks you in and keeps you curious as to what will happen next.

Just in case you were confused, this is not the Japanese movie Jisatsu Sakuru (AKA Suicide Club and Suicide Circle), but the story of Liz, a young woman who has been trapped in her apartment, when she finds a web community called the Suicide Club that really should have been called the Kill People Club.

Once a user joins, they're asked to pick someone they want to be killed or they themselves get killed for not nominating someone. The club then sends masked killers to do the actual wetwork and then records it and sends everyone the video.

The first part of this movie is really decent, setting up a Rear Window voyeur vibe. Sure, the film doesn't really deliver on that promise, but it's not a bad movie.

Klariza Clayton, who plays Liz, is really great though. She imbues the character with a spark that feels real. And writer/director Maximilian von Vier really sets up the mood that works so well in the first act. I'm interested in his next two projects, The Kaiserfeld Rule, in which a woman in a concentration camp plays chess with real lives on the line, and Magick.

watched this movie on accident

Watched this movie on an illegal streaming website which led me to watch this on accident. Originally i was looking for the 2001 suicide club but stumbled upon this instead. Cant say that i regret it, although i do feel like i just watched a bootleg version of what i was trying to watch at first. It was entertaning espeically due to the fact that i heavily related to the main character liz. Ending sucked ass though and seemed rushed. The dude the mc was into was kinda unattracitve though. They shouldve given her a better love interest. Seemed kinda like a boring guy. Either way no regrets watching this even if it was an accident. Also Is the mc liz into girls? Shes hot lol.
