Could have been much better

Dark, dramatic, decent mixture of religion.

It needed a better script i think. The story just seemed hollow. Everything they did, just seemed half finished.

Worth seeing, if you like action movies, but sadly, your not going to remember this movie by next month.

One Monk against the forces of darkness to save a family

This monk does an incredible job to defeat the forces of evil, with a help, of a great artifact " the Genesis dagger " This film is full of effective and very ominous images and scenery and the film is very dark, I appreciate perhaps most the shots of the church in Bulgaria, the director take us from the a view trough the monk's eyes on ( fps )to the streets of Alfama, it's great, a short with personality, but it lacks more creatures and more background story, maybe if a sequel is made, those questions would be answered.

O Caminho Da Luz aka Path Of Light gets 7/10 from me. Great work again Constantine !

A Dark And Illuminated Gothic Tale

I've just saw this short on the CFT channel, and i was quite surprise Full of Gothic imagery.

The film opens with an monk having dreams about demons, and has to travel to Lisbon to catch and kill Valkir an ancient demon ( that he already faced in the past ) now he must save a family that lives there, i loved the two children at the end of it, but still it lacks more story, acting is good, the soundtrack is a masterpiece, and i'm compelled to see more shorts and movies from this company, nevertheless i recommend the picture to all Portuguese who are tired of same old movies, some Traditional Catholics may not like this movie. But seekers of truth belong to any religion must watch this movie.

It is truly artistic, and for the budget of 500€, it's a gem.

Decent story, full of special effects

The production is good, the acting is good, and it is the kind of film you can watch with friends or family.

The story is engaging enough to make it interesting.

It is probably not the best film you will watch in your life but is it also very far from the worst.

As a short film, Path Of Light works fine and creates an epic atmosphere the special and visual effects are amazingly impressive, for the budget that it has.

I'm waiting for the sequel, because in the credits says - that the monk will return, just hope they can keep their promise.
