2007 was actually already fairly late in the career of the Spice Girls, but fans of them were certainly looking forward to their song "Headlines". I must say, it is a pretty good work. The music video is okay, but the song is fairly nice. Chisholm, Halliwell and Bunton do a pretty good job here, Brown is almost non-existent but I never saw much potential in here except being loud and crass, while Beckham/Adams is pretty bad, in terms of outfit and looks especially. The good thing about the Spice Girls is, while they are not the greatest band ever in terms of range, their voices have a fairly unique tone and sound that makes them so memorable. And who would have guessed that Mel C aka Sporty Spice can look that amazing in an outfit that completely goes against her athletic image. And I still believe she has the best voice from the bunch. This video here is good, so is the song. Not a letdown and I recommend these 4 minutes.
