For the first time there was enough information to follow the story. I also believe I know who is responsible and for what. John's father is played by a guy who always has the same role--nice looking on the outside but scum inside. The plan to recover the thumb drive is in motion. As with the original show, it's hard to believe how easily people can be overcome and the whole unit dismantled.

Grimes is remorseful to Carter for his role in losing the flash drive to the terrorists but Grimes plans to put it right. He has some information that could help the CTU.
In this episode we Carter inside the CTU for the first time, he almost feels like a member of the team but not for long. Grimes has information on a man called Gabriel who might have supplied the terrorists and Carter plans to break Grimes out from the CTUs clutches.
Drew comes round at the hospital only to be this time killed off properly by Amira. Poor Drew he only had a few scenes where he was not unconscious. It does show Amira has the killer instincts which might be true of the other sleeper cells.
Nicole Carter overcomes being held and gets in touch with Aaron Carter in time and warns him just in time about what his girlfriend was planning.
Nilaa has been taken in for questioning, treason is an offence punishable with the death penalty. However John Donovan the presidential candidate finds out that he was not betrayed by Nilaa as he finds footage of her confronting the radical terrorist imam. It was his father who betrayed everyone as Jadalla Bin-Khalid's people knew he was selling in effect terrorist oil and confronted him over this.
The fact that Henry Donovan is dirty is a big early revelation. Grimes realising he had made a mistake left me cold as he just comes across as selfish and stupid.
