PROTOCOL 734 is an indie drama set during a nuclear war. The budget is so cheap that you never see any kind of said war so the whole thing looks unbelievable. Passengers on a plane have to be rescued by those on the ground but all this leads to is endless talking and debate and little in the way of narrative thrust or incident. If you like watching close-up shots of actors looking out over desert landscapes then maybe this is the film for you; I found it a real chore to sit through.
