Sex & Nudity

- A couple of conservatively dressed women sit on men's laps in an opium den. (context suggests they are prostitutes but there is no sexual activity)
- A woman prostitute is called a whore.
- An ex-girlfriend (who is now a prostitute) kisses a man, and they later have a bath together (no nudity).
- An old man sits at a poker table with other men. A much younger girl sits on his lap. The man runs his hands over the girl's body, feeling her all over. The girl looks visibly uncomfortable with the situation, she is not enjoying being touched by him.
- A geisha woman describes how she derives pleasure from causing men pain. Then, a man whips another man's back with a whip. The geisha woman sits watching with a pleasurable smile. No nudity.
- Several men enter a "bathhouse". They are immediately approached by prostitutes in lingerie. One woman begins kissing one man. One man asks for the "full package" and asks how much it costs. The women take the men and lead them away, presumably to go have sex.
Violence & Gore

- The movie includes a bloody violent bare-knuckles boxing match that goes on for a few minutes.
- There are a few violent bar fights and shootouts.
- One character takes an arrow to the neck.
- A shark, crocodiles, and a tarantula threaten (in different scenes).
- A few characters suffer tragic deaths but nothing too graphic.
- A group of natives chase after some men with spears and darts. One man is impaled by a spear. Another man is shot by a poison dart.
- Two men are attacked, knives/razorblades are held to their necks/faces. A brawl breaks out, people are punching, swinging knives and attacking one another. One man is punched/knocked out and falls to the floor.
- A very large man picks up another man by his neck with both hands. He holds him in the air, choking him, then throws him to the ground. The men continue brawling, throwing punches, and begin to show bloody wounds and injuries. One man is knocked out and falls to the floor unconscious.
Profanity

- Mildly crude references to the foreskin, "a wallaby's nuts," etc.
- One use of "fuck," approximately four uses of "arse", three of "son of a bitch," two of "shit," two of "bastard". "Jesus" used as profanity about three times.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Periodic smoking.
- A man smokes opium in a den; suggested from his reactions that another man has also.
- A man drinks whisky from a bottle regularly, sometimes getting mildly drunk; the harder sort of liquor drunk in bars.
- 2 men enter an opium den. A geisha serves them tea, which they drink. Subsequently, the men begin feeling high/drugged from the tea. One man begins smoking drugs from a long pipe.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
