I want to believe... But not in this documentary!

I stumbled upon the 2015 documentary "Alien Crash Retrievals" here in 2023. Needless to say that I had never actually heard about this prior to getting to watch it. And truth be told, then I wasn't really harboring a lot of expectations to this particular documentary from writer and director J. Michael Long.

Running at 70 minutes, "Alien Crash Retrievals" didn't exactly do much of a convincing job of shedding light to any hard evidence to prove the existence of these alleged UFO crashes and the so-called secret government instances that clean up aforementioned crash sites and such. There was a lot of talk in the documentary, but no proof brought to the table. Just as to be expected, really, isn't it?

The documentary wasted a lot of time on showing repeated clips of dubious CGI renderings of flying UFOs, which mostly looked like something from a 1990s PC game. And the documentary was somehow befuddled by rather questionable music and seemed very unfit for a documentary about UFO crashes and alien recoveries.

Believe what you want about the phenomena of UFOs and lifeforms out in the universe, but "Alien Crash Retrievals" didn't do much to prove much of anything, aside from being a low budget and poorly made documentary wasting the viewer's time.

My rating of "Alien Crash Retrievals" lands on a three out of ten stars.
