Too much for seven minutes, and too little at the same time as well

Well the title "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Into the Great Wide Open" is really telling here as in these slightly under seven minutes you find the music video for the song in the title by the band in the title. That says it all. This one is probably more known than most other videos thanks to the prominent cast. The main character in the center of the story is played by global superstar Johnny Depp and he is joinced by Oscar winner Faye Dunaway in a supporting role and if you look really closely, you will see Golden Globe winner Matt LeBlanc as well. So if you love any of these, then you can check this one out. It really isn't that long. As for the story, it is tolerable for seven minutes, but never too good, but it's also not written in a way where it stays truly memorable and the young Johnny Depp 8still under the age of 30 in the early 90s here) cannot make a great impact either. as for the song, the chorus is fine, the rest is mediocre. Overall, it's probably a better and also more telling watch about its time when you decide to check out the music video and not just listen to the record, but it's not good enough for me to really say this gets a thumbs-up and you should check it out. Still a rest-in-peace goes out to Tom Petty and here he looks quite a lot like John Lennon I'd say. A bit disappointed by this one as the music genre is one I usually like, but yeah maybe it's more important how much you adore the actors in here. My suggestion is to skip it.
