Falls flat for the most part

Warning: Spoilers
"Being Flat" is a French English-language short film from 2015 that runs for a bit over 7 minutes and was written and directed by Quentin Dupieux. And this name as well as the photo here on imdb obviously make clearl already that what we got here is another addition to the Flat Eric universe, this time having the looks of a casting sessions with many impersonators, but not really too much fun. It is all about the comedy though, not about the music this time and I cannot say I was well-entertained here. Maybe the original Flat Eric is still a bit of a highlight at times, but also only because everything else was so weak and forgettable. It is a pretty shameless Red Bull commerical if anything and judging from the quality here, it may be finally time to retire the little red puppet and maybe it's been time for a while now. There isn't too much to say otherwise. This one you should really only give a watch if you absolutely adore the Flat Eric character because otherwise you will be as underwhelmed as I was and you will be glad like myself that it is a really short movie staying comfortable under double-digit numbers. Watch something else instead.
