I enjoyed this film tremendously. It is factual and accurate in the depiction of a highly dysfunctional family where virtually all of the lives touched by the dictator Stalin had a tragic ending. When one think of other dictators the name Stalin appears to be less prominent than Hitler, Putin, and Idi Amin. It is possible that Stalin outperformed all of these mad people with the exception of perhaps Genghis Khan. Why any of these people would leave a legacy that is so vile and despicable is hard to understand. Well documented history of Daughter Svetlana and a life that never became entirely free showing similar signs of egotistical inclinations like het father.
