Pornography and pornographers are fully stereotyped in the sixth decade of the industry's history, but what I cannot abide is the artsy interlopers who get full credit for doing absolutely nothing - they have a mainstream "pedigree". Most conspicuous among these are directors like Gaspar Noe and Michael Winterbottom who have zero feel for the genre but get instant cred -even IMDb refuses to put their porn into the "Adult" classification.
So it is with a far more obscure fellow like G.R. Sblattero, who is grinding out numerous lesbian videos in a vacuum, not paying the slightest attention to what talented artists (Nica Noelle, Dana Vespoli for starters) are doing. His gimmick is to cast models or at least model wannabes instead of seasoned XXX talent, but the results are miserable.
Title here sounds like a pretentious Kendo video from England, but doesn't do justice to the DVD's contents. Auteur Guy presents four lesbian vignettes, featuring zero characterization, just pawing, smooching, licking, fingering and tribbing for your listening and dancing pleasure.
It's lame by any yardstick you chose: classic erotica of decades past from masters like David Hamilton or even "Andrew Blake", the feminist breakthroughs of Candida Royalle, or any of the popular recent purveyors Girlfriends Films, Sweetheart Video or even Filly Films.
