Sex & Nudity

  • One character refers to another character as a "sugar daddy" as the character worked in a candy factory
  • The couple is constantly kissing on the mouth throughout the entire movie.
  • The husband jumps and wraps his legs around his wife's waist, rubbing against her body, and purrs like a kitten then the door shuts on multiple occassions during various scenes.
  • The eldest child Tim, hurts his private area by trying to slide down the banister on two occassions, saying 'ouch' when his crotch touches the banister, but proceeds to slide down anyway. as his crotch rubs against the banister.
  • A character says "mother's balls are burning." This is said in reference to balls of yarn but sounds provocative. The comment will likely not be noticed by children.

Violence & Gore

  • There are various scenes where the children are imagining violently graphic things happening to their parents all in the hope that they can 'orphan themselves.'
  • In the beginning scene, the cat says "You know..." And we hear a squishing sound then a baby cry. The squish is a little gross.

Profanity

  • None, but there's a moment in the film when the characters stop at a gas station called "The Gas Hole."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The parents drink wine throughout the movie.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The baby that is found at the front door gets away from the daughter and almost gets sliced by an ax that is hanging on the wall.
  • The parents kick the four children out of their home along with an orphan baby and Tim becomes very distraught and upset that they will not be the perfect family that he had envisioned. They are left to wander the streets, almost getting hit by multiple cars in a pileup, and find a home for the orphan child. They then sneak back into their home without their parents knowing.
  • The baby is accidentally thrown into the fireplace in a blazing fire and it appears as though the baby is incinerated but then it is revealed that it is only a ball of yarn that was burned.

  • In the house tour, the people are violently attacked but meant for comedy and no blood or gore.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A giant shark opens its mouth and leaps at the parents in a fantasy that their child has when imaging harm to his parents.
