    A well-crafted intermediate episode.

This episode was very solid. It was pretty much all about the characters recovering from last week's shocking events. As a result, there isn't a whole lot of advancement of the plot in this episode until the last couple of minutes. In fact, there isn't a whole lot going on in general throughout most of this episode, and yet it is strangely watchable. The characters receive some additional depth, and it is very well structured so that it never becomes boring.

Sarah and Cosima blame themselves for the tragic events of last week, and so they lash out and do reckless things. Siobhan also blames them, which does not help the problem. These scenes comprise the majority of the episode, and serve as excellent character studies. The show has always been set in Toronto, but it's also always been shot so that it could be any urban city. But in this episode, for the first time, we are shown the Toronto skyline. It serves as a wonderful backdrop to a touching scene and confirms that it is canonically in Toronto.

Donnie and Alison host a birthday party for one of their adopted children. This sequence was okay. It showed Alison's way of grieving over last episode and provided some amusement. The very ending of the sequence makes me excited to see the next episode.

The episode does end with a couple of twists. There is one big one that people will be very excited about yet I am neutral towards. There are a couple of small ones that pose questions for future episodes.

This is a perfectly good episode of Orphan Black. It doesn't have much that will knock your socks off, but it provides some solid aftermath to last week's fantastic episode and sets up some gripping plot threads for future episodes.

    Peaches Bodyline live performance

The seventeen clones of Tatiany Maslany are ridiculous and boring. I never liked all the Eddie Murphy movies where he plays eight characters that are very similar, but you have to pretend it is great and inspired acting. It's boring, not inspired. It is cheaper than hiring 17 other actors.

I watched this when I was channel surfing and saw a couple of seconds of Peaches singing Bodyline! Wow, she can perform the hell out of anything. This was a great song, I had never heard it before. Great performance. There is only one minute of the performance in the episode, so I tracked it down on YouTube.

Thanks Tatiana, for including Peaches. One minute of Peaches was better than 41 minutes of goofy acting pretending to be different people that look the same. At least Eddie Murphy put on a fat suit!

Felix puts down the tub of teabags next to the mug and kettle before talking to Siobhan and Kira, and it stays there for several shots. In the final shot of his leaving the room, the tub has gone.
    • Quotes

Beth Childs: What are you doing?

Sarah Manning: I'm trying to buy a train ticket. I want out but I don't even have a credit card.

      Beth Childs: Here, use mine.

[Beth briefly holds the card out but snatches it away before Sarah can touch it]

Beth Childs: Oh, wait. You maxed it out already.

      Sarah Manning: Ha ha ha.

Beth Childs: It's OK, I didn't need it anymore.
