Michael parks next to Jamie's SUV at the store, goes in and talks to Jamie, who leaves before he does. When Jamie comes out, Michael's vehicle has disappeared.
There are shots of Zoe's birthday party at nighttime. After Pace arrives, the scene changes to Michael's house where daylight is visible. But soon the scene changes back to Zoe's party at nighttime.
Police do not use lights and sirens to transport prisoners.
Jamie finds evidence in a boat and does not call the Sheriff, instead taking it out of the boat. She later presents it to the Sheriff but by then it had no value as evidence.
When Pace is picked up by the Sheriff and deputy, he is not handcuffed or searched.
Near the end, the Sheriff says the feds are coming in so it is out of his hands. Federal authorities do not become involved in state crimes such as homicides unless there is a federal tie in such as kidnapping or the crimes have spanned more than one state. Since none of that was the case here, the Sheriff's statement was totally in error.
