- In the beginning, a girl and her two parents get into a car crash when they drive off a bridge into the water. The father is killed immediately and the mother forces the girl to swim to the surface before the mother drowns.
- A woman raises a golf club over a man's head and strikes him in the back of the head with it. A shadow of his neck breaking is seen before he is dumped into a river and drowns.
