A Sweet Short Film
ogyuak18 August 2023
I watched this short film and really enjoyed it. But after reading some negative reviews and unfair criticisms about the movie on the website, I felt like I needed to write my thoughts.

Undoubtedly, it was a charming short film.

The story is about two people chatting for about ten minutes on a train. The conversations feel real and cute, the characters are interesting, and there are some nice views to enjoy too. The actor and actress did a perfect job, the filming was nice, and the movie keeps you interested without get you bored, it concluded with a sweet touch of sensuality. What more do you want from a short film, right?

Like I said, I felt like writing this review because I saw some unfair criticism of the film. I'm not saying it's the best short film ever; it has a simple story. But still, I enjoyed watching it, and it's one of the short films I liked.

Thanks to everyone involved in making this film.

What's the point here?

This short film feels like it tries too hard to be seen as "artistic" but just ends up being pretentious and pointless.

Put a short fetish feature under the shield of art
ersbel6 December 2016
Up until I have seen the work of Yes Men I was not aware that art is holding so much junk simply because it is practically a shield within the white Western world. But it is. All you have to do is get support from people already sworn in the gang and any piece of junk can receive protection.

I have nothing against fetish or fetishists. But this is no remake of Guy's also fetish story. First of all Guy has a Christian fetish in mind. Than the story was built with an overweight peasant woman and a underweight poor workers. In this case it is the regular porn movie fare: a younger woman, quite urban in appearance and a much older and probably richer man. So what's the connection with a 19th century French pulp writer? Art. He is long dead, so he is an artist. The producers pretend to make something with a text of his, so it must be art too.
