Featured review
Bubonic and Tyrannia cast a spell which makes everyone bad at what they do. The episode gives us a plot hole: How come Jacob was affected by the spell when he left the laboratory early in this episode, and yet in 'Perchance to Dream - Not' he was out of the lab and was unaffected (even though apart from the wizards he was the only other one awake when the spell was cast)? Maybe he only thought he was affected and it was just his rheumatism?
Speaking of Jacob, he was still a saving grace. At one point Maurizio is captured by a dogcatcher, and the raven chases down the dog pound van on a skateboard. So just because he lost the ability to fly doesn't mean he's lost the ability to improvise.
The episode gives us some insight into his insecurities, although I wish the episode could have expanded on it more.
Anyway, this episode was clumsy and somewhat more lazily written, although the art is not too shabby.
