"The Videoblogs" tells the story of a young woman who tries to cope with her personal problems by creating a videoblog, supposed to be seen by herself only. When she forgets her bag with her laptop at a cafe one day, a teenage girl finds it, watches the videos and begins to create her own blog. Soon the two of them become friends, setting up a conflict with her current best friend, who struggles to understand the benefits of this form of therapy.

Although most of the movie is based on monologues and dialogues and the plot is rather unspectacular, it never gets boring. Infact it keeps you wondering how things will turn out and, to my pleasure, they all culminate in a beautiful ending scene that I didn't see coming. The big drama of life mostly gets touched here rather along the way, it is not a very dramatic movie in itself. But it is very honest and reflects on feelings that probably quite a few of the viewers will be able to relate to. It sets a beautiful example of how very different people with very different biographies and personalities can find together and have an impact on each other.

All in all this is a film definetly worth a watch. I would like to see it raising larger audiences, as it shows how a small budget can be enough to create something special if you have a good idea in the first place.
