Absurdist films need to be witty and/or clever for them to sustain a feature length status (89min). I'm sorry to say this movie is neither. In my view It's almost a shame that the standard of acting is high as it's wasted in a film that is, in every other aspect, a complete waste of time.
The main character is named Mickey House (yes really) and he fights growing up...nuff said.
If you want to watch a film about a boy avoiding puberty, apart from the several versions of Peter Pan, then 'Children's Island' is a far superior presentation of this sub-genre.
