I watched "I'm Not a Terrorist, But I've Played One on TV" right after I had seen "Immigrant", because I was rather entertained and amused with what I saw and heard in "Immigrant".

Luckily, it turned out that both of the shows were quite entertaining. And Maz has a great level of energy in both the shows, it turns out that some of the material used in this 2015 show managed to sneak over in the 2017 show which was sort of not overly impressive in my opinion.

Maz Jobrani is great on the stage and he definitely has the right handle on the audience. He has a fair amount of good material with funny jokes and he is good at setting up his jokes and delivering the punchlines.

"I watched "I'm Not a Terrorist, But I've Played One on TV" is an entertaining stand-up comedy show and is well-worth watching if you enjoy stand-up comedy and haven't already seen it.

Can just anybody be a comedian nowadays?

This is like a really unfunny, language lesson. 10 mins in and Jobrani is still doing his really unfunny bit about language quirks amongst people of colour. Bored senseless, I skipped 20 mins ahead and Jobrani is still flogging the dead horse of being raised by first gen immigrants. Skip forward another 10 mins and now Jobrani thinks it's funny to trot out 90s humour of enjoying Sex in the City because he'd been drinking soy milk that was high in oestrogen. Even worse, Jobrani can't do accents, but he tries them with alarming frequency. At this point I gave up, there's no way it was going to get better.
